Kolor Champ’18, a nationwide art competition organized by Globalart is hitting the city of Hyderabad on October 28 (Sunday), 2018 at Shree Convention Centre, Kompally. Over 850 children between 4 – 15 years representing 7 states are expected to participate in this 12th National Competition by Globalart India. This year’s event seems to be the biggest competition ever on creativity for kids. Kolor Champ is an annual event that occurs every year in different cities across India.
The aim of this year’s competition is to persuade children to express their thoughts through their drawings. According to Namrata Mukherjee, Business Head, Globalart, these out-of-the-box thinking and freedom to express will instil self-esteem and confidence in them.
Dinesh Victor, Managing Director, SIP Academy India added that “Creativity is a critical tool for success in today’s world. With creativity honed in the early stages of life, these children who are the citizens of tomorrow will be better equipped to find innovative solutions to various complex issues in a highly competitive world.”
Globalart was launched in 2005 by SIP Academy India which has devoted itself to the skill development of children since 2003. 8000 children in 130 centres attend Globalart classes every week and almost 55000 children have gone through this program. It has had a global impact over 17 countries where 275,000 children in this age group have been trained.
