Indian students suffer due to the lack of quality education, says Anand Kumar

Super 30 founder and mathematician, Anand Kumar quipped that India has enormous supply of potent and talented students but they lack access to quality education. This renders several brilliant and capable students to step back and leave the way for students from other countries. Anand Kumar is the recently in news as a biopic on his life is just around the corner. The movie is based on his life, accomplishments, struggles, and how one man took it upon himself to help poor children get admission in prestigious IITs. Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will be seen as Anand Kumar in the film.

Kumar was recently felicitated in the Silicon Valley for his incessant efforts. Kumar said that “In India, there is a huge craving for education, but quality education is not accessible to all of them. Today, technology can make it happen. Online classes can do what is not otherwise possible.”

“Education is changing fast, as the requirements are changing. This calls for new approach to education,” added Kumar in the golden jubilee program organised in San Jose, California.

Assuring the entire hall filled with influential personnel, he stressed on the fact that “Today, there are opportunities to fill this void through technology. You people can make it happen through small contributions from your side in your own way to make a big difference.”
