Scholarship: INST Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship 2019
Description: This Mohali based Nano Science and Technology (INST) is seeking applications from Doctoral Degree holders or one’s who have submitted their thesis in science or engineering, for the purpose of encouraging them to do research in the field of Nano Science and Technology.
Eligibility: Meritorious applicants below 35 years of age as on 1 February 2019, who have a proven research competence in science or engineering and are proficient enough to do independent investigation in future, are eligible to apply. 5 years relaxation is provided to SC, ST, PH, Women and 3 years relaxation is given to OBC category.
Prizes & Rewards: Privileged candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 45000 along with an annual contingency grant of INR 40,000, candidate who are awaiting PhD degree after submitting PhD thesis, if selected, will be receiving a monthly allowance of INR 25000 till the award of PhD degree.

Scholarship: Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2018-19
Description: Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is financially assistingstudents, who have more than 40% disability (certified by competent medical authority of the state government or UTs).
Eligibility: Students studying in class 11 to post graduation (regular or correspondence) from a recognized board or university with annual family income not more than INR 2.50 Lacs, are eligible for this scholarship.
Prizes & Rewards: Monthly maintenance allowance up to INR 1600 to hostellers and up to INR 750 to day scholars, disability allowance of up to INR 4000 per annum, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees of up to INR 1.50 Lacs per annum and book allowance of INR 1500 per annum will be given to the privileged candidates.

Description: Dependent widows and wards of central armed police forces and Assam Rifles personnels, who are pursuing professional courses at graduation and post-graduation level like Engineering, medicine, dental, veterinary, BBA, BCA, BPharm, BSc (Nursing, agriculture, etc), MBA, MCA, etc. are invited by the Welfare and Rehabilitation Board, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to apply for this scholarship and get financially assisted under the same.

Description: Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India is inviting students with disabilities (SwDs), who are undertaking graduation, postgraduation or diploma level education from recognized institutes, to apply for this scholarship in order to receive economic support to further their education.
Eligibility: Applicants having more than 40% disability and a proof for the same with annual family income not exceeding INR 6 Lacs are eligible to apply.
Prizes & Rewards: Up to INR 2 Lacs per annum as reimbursement of tuition fees and non-refundable charges paid or payable to the institute, one time grant of INR 30,000 for reimbursement of expenses for purchase of Aids and Assistive Devices. Monthly maintenance allowance of INR 3000 and INR 1500 for hostellers and day scholars along with the annual book grant of INR 5000 and monthly special allowance of INR 2000 will be given.

Scholarship: Fair and Lovely Foundation Scholarship 2018
Description: Like every year, Fair & Lovely Career Foundation has declared its scholarship call open; to select 55 college-going female students. This program intends to help girls who require financial aid, by covering their education-related expenses on the basis of merit and need, for which applications are invited from all across the country.
Eligibility: Female applicants, who have cleared class 12 from any stream with 60% marks in class 10 and 12 examination, of age between 15-30 years can apply. The applicant’s family income should not be more than INR 6L p.a. The candidate can be from any given wide range of graduation, and post-graduation programme (as mentioned in the application site). Scholarship: Senior/Junior Fellowship to Outstanding Persons in the Field of Culture 2018-19
Description: Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India has announced this fellowship for graduate artists, who are willing to undertake research oriented projects in the field of Performing, Literary, Plastic Arts and New Areas related to culture.
Eligibility: For junior fellowship, the applicant must fall between 25 to 40 years as on 1 April 2018 and for senior fellowship, he or she must not be less than 40 years as on 1 April 2018. For both fellowships, the applicant must be a graduate in related field and must not be a recipient of any similar scholarship.
Prizes & Rewards: Junior fellows will be receiving INR 10,000 per month and INR 20,000 per month will be given to senior fellows for a period of two years.

Scholarship: Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses CS (Minorities) 2018-19
Description: The scholarship is financially backing students from minority community i.e. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians or Parsis, who are undertaking graduation or post-graduation in any technical or professional field from a recognized institution.
Eligibility: Students, who got admission by clearing competitive entrance exam or in case of direct admission, must have scored minimum 50% in class 12 or graduation with family income not more than INR 2.50 Lacs. 50% marks in the previous final examination is mandatory.
Prizes & Rewards: Hostellers and day scholars will be rewarded with INR 20,000 p.a. for course or actual (whichever is less) and monthly maintenance allowance of INR 1000 to hostellers and INR 500 to day scholars will be provided for 10 months in an academic year.

Scholarship: King’s University College at Western University Scholarship 2019
Description: Students who have cleared class 12 and looking forward to have overseas exposure through under graduate degree program, from Canada, are welcomed by the university. The scholarship covers programme of Management and Organisational Studies, Social Sciences, Arts, Social Justice and Peace Studies.
Eligibility: The applicant must have cleared class 12 with an overall aggregate of minimum 75% and must have English language proficiency with 6.5 in IELTS, 580 marks in TOEFL, 4.5 in TWE or 20 marks in each section of IBT or score 56 in each section of PTE. The subject of Mathematics is not mandated in class 12, while applying for the admission in any of the programme.

Scholarship: NCRA-TIFR Open Post-Doctoral Fellowships 2018-19
Description: Doctoral degree holders in astronomy, physics and related subjects are invited by Pune based National Centre for Radio Astrophysics of the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR) to focus on frontiers of astrophysics and astronomy along with software development and instrumentation.
Eligibility: Candidates waiting for PhD degree award after submitting doctoral thesis to the university are considered eligible for this scholarship.
Prizes & Rewards: Candidates, who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting doctoral degree, will receive INR 32, 000 p.m., doctoral degree holder will receive monthly salary between INR 36,000 to INR 40,000, and postdoctoral fellows will receive an annual contingency grant of INR 32,000, travel grant of INR 3, 00,000 along with other facilities. Description: In order to ensure the safety of child labour from working in any of the hazardous sector, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, is financially assisting the wards of Beedi, Cine, IOMC, LSDM Workers, Contract labourer or Gharkhataworkers through this scholarship.
Eligibility: Regular students enrolled in PUC I and II (class 11 and 12), ITI, degree course, professional course (BE, MBBS, BSc Agri), whose either or both the parent are working as a Beedi worker, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines (IOMC) worker, Limestone & Dolomite Mines (LSDM) worker, Cine worker from last six months can apply. Applicant’s monthly family income should not be more than INR 10,000 excluding Cine worker where annual salary should not exceed INR 1,00,000. Also, they must have cleared previous examination in the very first attempt.

Scholarship: National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students 2018-19
Description: With the aim of motivating class 12 pass students, graduates and postgraduates belonging to the caste of schedule tribe, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India is inviting applications from the same in order to assist them financially for continuing their further education.
Eligibility: For Fellowship, the applicant must have cleared post-graduation exam and should be enrolled for a full time M.Phil or Ph.D. from a recognized institution. For Scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled in an institution notified by Ministry of Tribal Affairs with family income not exceeding INR 6 Lac per annum. In order to be eligible for senior research fellowship, the applicant needs to satisfy the prescribed UGC/ICAR norms.

Scholarship: FAER McAfee Scholar Awards 2018-19
Description: The program encourages creativity and innovation amongst polytechnics and engineering students particularly belonging to rural and semi-urban areas and motivate them to work on areas and topics of relevance related to rural areas, rural communications, agricultural information systems, e-governance, resource utilization, ecology, watershed development, renewable resources, etc.

Scholarship: Snehapoorvam Scheme 2018
Description: This scheme is introduced tofinancially uplift the students who have lost either one or both of their parents and are living in the family, with relatives, friends or are living in the community supported under social welfare department driven by Social Security Mission.
Eligibility: Students, who belong to the below poverty line category and studying in class 1 to postgraduation, can apply for this scheme. The one who are above poverty line, must have annual family income less than INR 20,000 and INR 22,375 in rural and urban areas respectively.
Prizes & Rewards: Students of class 1 to 5, class 6 to 10 and class 11 to 12 will receive an amount of INR 300, INR 500 and INR 750 per month, respectively. INR 1000 will be given to those pursuing degree or professional degree courses.
