137 Government Schools in Haryana to be Upgraded to Senior Secondary

The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, recently announced that secondary schools with atleast 100 students in classes 9 and 10 would be upgraded to senior secondary schools. It is hence suggested that almost 132 schools will be undergoing the upgradation. The minister announced the same on the third day of his visit to Sirsa disctrict for the new campaign called “Jan Samvad”.

Manohar Lal Khattar also announced how the state government is making efforts to build a school within 5 kilometre radius of the location. The news brings a happy wave as students would now not have to travel long distances to study. Chief Ministe, Khattar, laid the foundation stones of seven projects at Bani village including the construction of hostels and buildings of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya at Fatehpur Niamatkhan village, with a budget of 4.90 crores.
