14 top medical colleges in India to guide medical colleges to expand Corona Testing Capacity: Report and updates

The outbreak of COVID-19 has already taken claim to 4971 (as on May 30) precious souls in India. It has really pushed every country to a limit where business and government organizations are taking bold and new initiatives to fight this pandemic. As per Statista, India so far has 431 government testing laboratories and 178 private players across the country to fight this deadly virus as of 27th May. More and more initiatives are taken to add more testing and sample collection centres. This surge in numbers of testing centres will definitely help testing more people and identify COVID-19 hotspots. The ICMR has recently launched an initiative which involves top medical colleges in India in the fight. These colleges will guide other colleges to expand the Corona testing capacity.
