Deadline for applying for CUET has been extended till March 13
This year 163 universities will participate in the Common University Entance Exam (CUET). CUET has become a primary way of entering reputed universities and colleges across India. As many institutes are still enrolling for the exams, the deadline or applying for the exam has also been extended toll March 13. Last year the number of institutes that were conducting entrance exams via CUET was ninety. There has been a significant rise henceforth.
Among 168 institutes, there are 44 Central Universities and 31 State Universities. Some of these universities include Hyderabad Central University; Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and many more. “Sixty-six private universities too are participating in the common entrance test this year which include Bennett University, Uttar Pradesh; NIIT University, Rajasthan and UPES, Dehradun,” a senior official said. As of now, the exam is said to be conducted between May 21 to May 31.
The admission procedure in colleges will be over by July 2023 and academic sessions will begin from August 1.
