On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and patriotism at Army Public School, Bolarum. The event began with the unfurling of the tricolour by the Principal, Mrs. Smitha Govind, evoking a strong sense of patriotism among the attendees.
The NCC cadets impressed the gathering with their synchronized march-past, showcasing discipline and precision. The celebration continued with a brief yet impactful assembly, followed by the Principal’s address, which highlighted the significance of Republic Day and the values it stands for.
The felicitation ceremony recognized the outstanding achievements of students in various fields, further adding to the day’s spirit of pride and unity. A vibrant cultural display followed, featuring performances from the secondary, primary as well as the pre-primary wings of the school.
The tiny tots of pre -primary delighted the audience with their patriotic fervour which evenly matched the performance of the students of the secondary wing who set the stage alight with a captivating group dance themed around national pride, while the primary wing contributed to the celebration with a melodious rendition that further enhanced the atmosphere of joy and patriotism.
The celebration, marked by a blend of rich cultural performances and patriotic sentiments, was a befitting tribute to the nation, strengthening the spirit of unity and pride in every heart present.
