On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
Birla Public School, Kishangarh, Celebrates the 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Zeal and Athletic Excellence
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with unparalleled enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Birla Public School, Kishangarh, reflecting the institution’s commitment to national pride and holistic development. The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag, symbolizing India’s unity and democratic spirit. A well-coordinated House March Past and a spectacular Band Presentation added grandeur to the occasion, exemplifying discipline and teamwork.
The significance of the day was eloquently conveyed through inspiring speeches delivered by Master Akshraj Paliwal (Hindi) and Vansh Verma (English), who highlighted the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution and the role of youth in shaping the nation’s future. The Principal, Mr. Sourabh Kumar Guha, addressed the gathering, reinforcing the ideals of democracy, responsibility, and perseverance in the minds of the students.
Marking the spirit of excellence beyond academics, the day also witnessed the Annual Athletic Meet 2025, held in the school’s sports ground. The event featured a series of thrilling competitions, including the 100-meter and 200-meter races, the 4×100 relay race, recreational races, and the much-anticipated Tug of War, fostering sportsmanship, endurance, and camaraderie among students.
The celebrations concluded on a note of immense pride and inspiration, leaving students and faculty with renewed zeal to contribute towards the progress of the nation. The event not only celebrated India’s democratic spirit but also emphasized the importance of physical fitness and teamwork in shaping responsible citizens of tomorrow.
