On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event held on 26th January, 2025, was attended by staff, students and parents, creating an atmosphere of unity and national pride.
The Guard of Honour escorted the Guest of Honour, the Principal, Headmistress of the Primary and Secondary Wing and the distinguished members of the Jubilee Hills Managing Committee.
The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by the Guest of Honour, Director of Jubilee Hills Public School, Smt.M.Varalakshmi, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The Welcome Address by the Principal, Smt.P.Kanchana Valli stated that students are the heartbeat of India’s future and while the country is making significant strides in the fields of technology, youth empowerment and sustainability, they should utilize and take full advantage of the emerging opportunities that can drive India towards unprecedented growth and prosperity.
The Guest of Honour, Smt.M.Varalakshmi, in her address, emphasized the importance of Republic Day and the responsibilities of young citizens in shaping the nation’s future.
A series of cultural performances, including patriotic songs and dance performances, captivated the audience with its vibrant depiction of India’s rich cultural heritage.
The tableau display highlighted various themes including cultural diversity and advancements in science and technology. The students dressed in colourful costumes, brought these themes to life with remarkable performances and visual storytelling.
The Sports Day segment of the event featured synchronized mass drill, dynamic zumba workout, rhythmic dumb bell drill and an engaging hoola hoop drill, each contributing to the electrifying spirit of the event.
Adding to the excitement was a variety of athletic competitions, including track and field events and relay races. The competitive spirit was high as students pushed their limits to achieve their best.
They participated with great zeal, demonstrating sportsmanship and teamwork. Winners were awarded medals and certificates, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
The celebrations were a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the students and fostering a sense of national pride and camaraderie within the school community.
