On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
KRM Public School, Villivakkam, celebrated the 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, with great zeal and patriotism. The program began with an invocation and flag unfurling, followed by the singing of the national song.
The program featured a range of performances such as the special song Unity of Harmony, patriotic speeches in Tamil and Hindi, and an uplifting English speech titled Empowering Youth, Empowering India. A patriotic dance, rhythmic yoga, and a mime presentation called Tiranga in Motion were the key highlights.
The event was given a regional flair with a Tamil patriotic song and a Tamil kavithai. The honored guest, former ACP Havaldar R. Raj Bharath, a successful boxing coach and national medallist, gave a motivational speech. His experiences as a professional boxer and referee served as inspiration for students to work hard at their ambitions.
Additionally, he provided pupils with a variety of career counseling suggestions pertaining to the army and sports, which broadened their perspectives.
The event concluded with prize distribution, the vote of thanks, and the national anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and love for the nation.
The celebration was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering patriotism and empowering students to contribute to the nation’s growth.
