On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with immense pride and reverence at Mount Litera Zee School, Contai, showcasing the spirit of patriotism and unity. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the honourable Chairman of the school, Mr. Chintamoni Mondal. The event was graced by the presence of the Director, Dr. Saikat Mondal, the Rector, Mrs. Aparna Mondal, the School Advisor, Mr. Kalyan Kumar Jana, the School Coordinators, and other dignitaries, adding to the solemnity of the occasion.
The event featured a cultural segment filled with captivating dance and music performances, celebrating the rich heritage and spirit of India. The school choir proudly performed the National Anthem, followed by the school captain, vice-captain, and sports captain, who read the preamble of the Constitution. A floral tribute to the portraits of freedom fighters by the dignitaries and guests paid homage to the sacrifices made for the country’s independence.
The School Advisor, Mr. Kalyan Kr. Jana, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the students to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a profound sense of pride and unity.
