On January 26th, 2025, our school came alive with the spirit of patriotism and unity as we celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s celebrations held extra significance, marking over seven decades of the day the Constitution of India came into effect, officially declaring the country a republic. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt tributes to the freedom fighters who made this historic day possible, creating an atmosphere of national pride and collective joy.
Seeds Uranus School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotism, holding a special assembly filled with inspiring messages, vibrant cultural performances, and traditions that reflect the values of the institution.
The event began with a Guard of Honor, walking in the Chief Guest, Master Abhiram Reddy, and the Guest of Honor, Mr. Malleshwar. In line with the tradition across the FEI group of schools, the Chief Guest was selected through a lot system from the senior-most grade students, fostering inclusivity and pride among the student body. The dignitaries were presented with bouquets as a mark of respect and appreciation.
The assembly commenced with a Welcome Speech by Ms. Praneetha, followed by a heartfelt Prayer and the recital of the Pledge, reinforcing the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The presentation of the school’s Vision and Mission highlighted its commitment to nurturing responsible and empowered citizens.
The Cultural Captain, Akshaya, formally welcomed the guests, leading to the ceremonious Flag Hoisting and the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor.
The Centre Head’s Message emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and dedication toward the nation. A series of performances and activities followed, showcasing the students’ creativity and patriotism, including:
- Patriotic Singing, evoking national pride.
- National Leaders’ Splendor Show by Nursery and PP-1 students, honoring the contributions of India’s great leaders.
- Armed Forces Talk Show by PP-2 students, highlighting the sacrifices of soldiers.
- A lively Pom-Pom Drill by Grade 1 students.
- An expressive Dance Performance by Grade 2A2 students.
- A Pep Talk on Republic Day by Yash of Grade 2A1, inspiring the audience with his thoughts.
- A synchronized Flag Drill and Pyramid Formation by Grade 3 students, leaving the audience mesmerized.
The parents of the Chief Guest, Master Abhiram Reddy, delivered a heartfelt message, expressing their gratitude and pride. The Guest of Honor, Mr. Malleshwar, encouraged the students to imbibe the values of hard work, dedication, and service to the nation.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Head Boy, Darshith, and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and united in their love for the country.
