BVM Global @ Trichy laid the foundation stone today for their upcoming Indoor & Outdoor sports complex which will comprise dedicated courts for Badminton, basketball, volleyball, indoor table tennis, a football field and cricket pitches.
The foundation stone was laid by the School’s Chairman Mr. Ramana Prasad who believes that sports help children build cognitive and social skills. It also boosts a child’s self-confidence and self-esteem. Children learn about teamwork and how to play as a team to win a game.
Sports also naturally teach children how to become good leaders, on and off the field. Students who do well in sports and games turn their talent into passion and excel at the national and international level. He also has the opinion that promoting sports and games in schools and encouraging children to participate in them will produce more talented and successful sportspersons who will make India proud on the global stage.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the parents, students, and the alumni of the school. . The ceremony was also presided over by the Director & joint director of AAI, Trichy, the councillor of KK Nagar, Trichy and several other dignitaries. Everyone who visited and saw the model of the proposed sports complex greatly appreciated the grand initiative by the school and management of BVM Global @ Trichy.
