Our school’s name is Kommareddy (EM) High School. It is located in a rural area called Bantumilli in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. This school was established in 1974 by Late K. Venkateswara Rao and Mutya Ratnam. After completing his education, Mr. K. Kishore took over the school in December 1980. At that time, there were only 72 students, but now more than 2000 students are studying in this school. For his service in rural education, he was recognized and honored with awards such as Acharya Devo Bhava, Godavari Excellence Award, Visista Samman, Andhra Ratna, and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award by different organizations. He served in the Lions Club International as President, Jonal Chairman, Regional Chairman, and District Chairman, receiving numerous awards for his services. He is a good speaker and motivator.
Our school’s students have achieved many awards in various state-level and national-level competitions. One of our students, named Ganesh Bhardwaj, was selected for the Rural IT Quiz at the national level from Andhra Pradesh, conducted by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services). Many other students have excelled in various competitions and talent tests. Recently, in the last academic year, we received the India’s Top 500 Schools Excellence Award from Brainfeed Magazine.
