The Government of Uttar Pradesh to transfer money on parents’ accounts for school children to buy shoes, uniforms and bags. Presently, the uniform, shoes and bags provided by the Government is to let children and parents focus on the education.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh on Friday has decided to take this initiative for students of Class I to VIII in Government primary and aided schools.
A total amount of Rs 1,800 crore is to be transferred to the parents through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Along with this decision, the Government has also decided to provide 80 hectares of land to Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO). The decisions were taken by a cabinet meeting chaired by Yogi Adityanath.
Education has always been a priority but the hurdles and expenses to be achieved by a student are not justified. Thus, the Government taking necessary steps in order to overcome this issue.
