The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh has released the results for intermediate first and second year (class XI and XII). Examinations. This year around 3.7 lakh students appeared for the intermediate second year examination. Out of this, 2.7 lakh students have successfully completed the examination. Total pass percentage is 72 per cent and the pass percentage for boys if 68 per cent and girls is 75 per cent.
With regard to the intermediate first year examination, a total of 4.33 lakh students appeared for the examination and 2.66 lakh students have completed it successfully. The over pass percentage for first year stand at 61 per cent. The pass percentage of boys is 58 per cent and girls is 65 percent
Girls outperformed the boys in both intermediate first- and second-year examinations. Krishna district tops with a highest pass percentage of 75 per cent for first year and 83 per cent for second year examinations.
This year, the intermediate (class XI and XII) examinations in Andhra Pradesh were held from March 15 to April 3 for intermediate first year and from March 16 to April 4 for intermediate second year.
