The 4-step psychometric assessment and career counseling framework (ICAP) comprising of Interests, Career Preferences, Aptitudes, and Personality Type entails personalized career counseling with students, and interaction with parents to understand both the student’s and parents’ aspirations. Accordingly, guidance is extended to the students to help them make the right career choice.
On the basis of the ICAP framework, 4 psychometric tests are conducted with the students. Each psychometric report is addressed during a personalized one-to-one career counseling session with the student. In the case of individual students, these sessions are conducted online or on special request, in Toprankers classrooms. In the case of schools, NGOs, or CSR initiatives, collaborations are forged for these sessions online or offline in the school premises. Based on a student’s specific interests, career preferences, abilities, and personality type, along with their experiences while exploring different career options on the platform, the right career option and personalized career plan is recommended.
Once the student goes to college, they get strong support from Toprankers in creating their branch specific portfolio of academic record, internships, extra-curricular activities, and scholarships (if applicable) through one-to-one career counseling support. This helps them implement their career plan at every step.
