The UP Board has recently granted special permission to eight-year-old prodigy Rashtram Aditya Shri Krishna to be admitted in Class IX directly. At the age of 10 in 2021, he is set to appear in the high school examinations from M D Shukla Inter College in the Nakhas area.
A student should be of at least 14 years of age to appear in Class X examinations of the UP Board, as per the rules. But an exception to the existing rule, to appear for the examination at the age of 10, Rashtram has been granted permission.
Rashtram’s astrologer father, Pawan Kumar Acharya said that “Rashtram received primary education at home and has sound knowledge of mathematics, social science, has mastered yoga & meditation too. He is also familiar with languages such as Hindi, English as well as French (up to some extent). So we filed an application with the UP Board which was acknowledged.”
The district inspector of schools, Mukesh Kumar, said that “For the admission of Rashtram directly in Class IX, the board has given special permission.”
