Unexpected Events
A week that starts with a bitter pill is not likely to end well. The medication I had taken for my cold was just as bitter and sour as I remembered. Nevertheless, the exhaustion that overtook my body quickly distracted me from the sour medicine. Using the last of my energy, I forced myself to study for the upcoming Telugu test and Speaker@Silver Oaks. While I was perfecting my speech, the clock struck nine and my impending sleep schedule sprung into action forcing me to sleep.
Though I did not get anything done on Monday, I had high hopes for Tuesday. But, they all came crashing down when I overslept and missed the school bus. But, this turned out to be the least of my worries when I received news about the immense workload that was given to us in school. The bottom line is that Tuesday went from being a break day to a cram session.
After the stressful events of Tuesday, Wednesday turned out to be a carefree day with plenty of rifts between my classmates regarding Opera. Due to time constraints, planning for Opera caused me to work during my lunch break and recess periods. The rest of the days were a blur of school, tuition and studying with all these activities creating a monotonous routine I wasn’t able to break.
All in all, this week was equal parts stressful and intriguing. Every week that passes by is different but every week has something new to offer through experiences, conversations and learning.
