The Biology Academy of Bareilly has introduced an innovative program with the goal of offering free coaching for the IIT and NEET exams to eligible students in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Acknowledging the talent and promise of students belonging from financially underprivileged backgrounds, especially those enrolled in government schools, the academy aims to bridge the divide by providing free preparation for professional courses.
Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Rohit Pratap Singh, the academy is reaching out to students identified as living in households below the poverty line or with an annual income of less than Rs 10 lakh, ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder their educational ambitions.
The program covers coaching for students in grades 9 to 12 who are gearing up for the IIT and NEET exams.
Aligning with the modernization of education, classes will be held online, utilizing digital platforms to reach a broader audience. The timetable is structured to suit students’ requirements, with classes scheduled from 8 am to 7 pm. Expert educators from major cities such as Delhi, Kota, Lucknow, and Prayagraj will conduct the sessions, providing top-notch education for all participants.
Moreover, there will be regular scholarship exams held to identify and assist brilliant individuals, thereby increasing access to professional courses.
This endeavor is in line with the Uttar Pradesh government’s Abhudaya Scheme, which provides free coaching for NEET UG and IIT JEE Mains. Similar initiatives exist in other states such as Bihar, where the BSEB offers free coaching, along with accomodation and meals, for students appearing for JEE and NEET.
