Bengaluru students shine at International Science Olympiad 2018-19

Science Olympiad, a well-known international competition, became a fest for India. Four students of Bengaluru bagged honours at the 2018-19 edition in different categories.

Toppers at Science Olympiad Foundation’s Olympiad 2018-19

As per the reported results, Sauradeep Sharmila Mandal bagged the top international rank. Sauradeep is a class 6 student studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal.

Archita Panikkar from National Public School, Indiranagar received the Gold Medal. This child prodigy is just a class 5 student who bagged an honour at the International competition.

A class 10 student, Sonal Sachin Keni reserved the top rank at the International English Olympiad. Sonal is from B.G.S National Public School.

Yukita Thangamma, a Class 7 student from The Samhita Academy took home the Gold Medal, reports confirm.

Participants at International Olympiad 2018-19

A large number of students across the globe participated in the SOF Olympiad exams in 2018-19. As per the reports, 50 lakh students from over 500,000 schools across 1400 cities and 30 countries participated in the exam. Around 4.4 lakh students participated from Bengaluru alone.
