Edu Start Solution Services partnered with Zee Education for hosting the third edition of Zee Edufuture Excellence Awards 2023. The mega event was held at the Leela, Chankya Puri, New Delhi on 23 June 2023. The first edition was held online due to uncertainties surrounding the Covid pandemic. The second edition was held at Leela Ambience, Gurugram on June 2022.
While the earlier events were restricted to higher education institutions, this event had 22 categories of awards for universities, 22 for K12 schools and one for pre-schools. The awards were adjudicated by an eminent jury consisting of prominent school educationists Dr Sumer Singh and Dr Amita Wattal; college educators Prof Prafulla Agnihotri Prof Rihan Suri and Prof Dibakar Rakshit and Ambassador Sandeep Kumar.
The highly acclaimed film director Vivek Agnihotri was the chief guest and Shri Mahendra Nath Pande, Honorable Union Minister of Heavy Industries was the Guest of Honor.
There were three panel discussions with eminent panelists from among the jury members and also Dr Ramesh Chandra Gaur, Director National School of Drama and Alok Shriram, Director DCM Group of Industries. The events marked the culmination of an arduous process set in motion by Sapna Sukul, founder of Edu Start and Zee Media.
