The Bihar School Examination Board in Patna (BSEB) announced on March 31,2024, the dates for applying for scrutiny of Class 10 results and compartment exams. The scrutiny process is for candidates who are not satisfied with their recently declared Bihar board Class 10 results and wish to have their papers rechecked for potential mark improvement. Meanwhile, the BSEB compartment exams are for students who have been placed in the compartment category.
The links to apply for BSEB Class 10 scrutiny and compartment exams will become available on April 3, 2024, and will remain open until April 9, 2024. BSEB has stated that the results of the compartment exams will be declared by May 31, 2024. Further details regarding the compartment exam dates will be provided later, as per BSEB’s announcement.
This year, in 2024, the Bihar board Class 10th exam witnessed an overall pass percentage of 82.91 percent, marking a 1.87 percent increase from the previous year’s 81.04 percent. To pass the Class 10 matric exam, a student must secure a minimum of 30 percent.

3. Enter your details, including the roll code, roll number, and registration number.
4. Log in using the application ID generated by the system.

- Select the subjects for scrutiny or rechecking by ticking the boxes next to each subject.
- Proceed to the ‘fee payment’ option and pay the scrutiny fee using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
For the BSEB scrutiny process, students will need to pay a fee for each paper they apply for.
This year, in 2024, a total of 4,52,302 students have achieved first division, 5,24,965 students obtained second division, and 3,80,732 students secured third division.
