The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) established in 1952 in Patna turned to the WhatsApp video call option to interview the state toppers. On account of COVID-19 and country lockdown, the interview, which usually takes place at the board’s office, was seamlessly over the app. Before announcing the examination results, the interview was conducted by board officials.
The two BSEB toppers Sudhanshu Narayan Choudhary and Kausar Fatma were called for a short chat. On Tuesday afternoon, the interview applauded their stellar performance. Bihar board office and deputy examination controller Vijay Mishra coordinated the call after thorough briefing.
Questionings were done by a panel of experts following which the students jotted down respective answers. The answers were thereby sent as an image to the authorities.
“I gave answers to all the questions. Thereafter, they asked me to jot down a paragraph each both in Hindi and English on anything besides writing personal details in front of camera during video calling and put our signature on it. We did that.”
