BSEB issues warning against fraudulent calls

by

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued a warning to students and parents about a rise in deceptive phone calls. Recently, there has been an increase in fraudulent calls where individuals pretend to be board officials. They falsely promise to improve marks in the 2024 Class 10 and 12 board exams in exchange for a fee.

The BSEB has informed the public about the misleading methods used by these impostors, who falsely identify themselves as committee representatives. These scammers are specifically targeting unsuspecting individuals by making false promises of higher exam scores, all with the intention of making a financial gain.

The board has denounced these actions as not just deceitful but also unlawful. It has emphasized the significance of implementing strong legal measures against individuals involved in such fraudulent activities, as they pose a threat to the well-being of society as a whole.

Moreover, the BSEB has provided assurance to the public regarding the security measures implemented for the 2024 Intermediate and annual secondary examinations. The answer sheets for these exams are carefully barcoded, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the assessment process. The board has stated that any efforts to tamper with or alter marks on these sheets are futile. This highlights the board’s commitment to preventing any malicious attempts to manipulate exam results.
