BSEH declared dates for re-examinations, re-evaluation, and re-verification on their official website

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has released the date sheet for re-examinations, reevaluation, and re-verification of secondary and senior secondary classes, May 16, 2024. Students can check the date sheet and apply for these exams, beginning from today, (May 16) on the official BSEH website — bseh.org.in.

Re-examinations are for those candidates who missed the Secondary (Educational) examination in March 2024 or whose results have been declared. Candidates who are dissatisfied with their examination results, those with results for partial or complete subjects, and secondary candidates who failed their exams can take the June/July 2024 exams as self-study candidates in the fresh category. For the Secondary/Secondary cum Pre-Madhyamik and Senior Secondary examinations in June/July 2024, candidates who apply between May 16 and May 26, 2024, will not be charged a late fee of Rs 900. However, if candidates apply between May 27 and May 31, 2024, they will incur a late fee of Rs 100.

Similarly, the registration dates with a late fee of Rs 300 are from June 1 to June 5, 2024, and those with a late fee of Rs 1000 are from June 6 to June 10, 2024.

In 2024, BSEH released the Class 10 results on May 12,  2024, with an overall pass percentage of 95.22%. In rural areas, 8,044 out of 9,163 students passed, resulting in an 87.79% pass rate. In urban areas, 3,444 out of 3,774 students passed, achieving a higher pass rate of 91.23%. In 2023, rural schools performed better than urban schools, with pass percentages of 67.35% and 61.28%, respectively.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage was 65.43%, a decline from 2022’s 73.18%. However, in 2022, the Class 10 exams were conducted with a 30% reduced syllabus. In 2021, BSEH canceled the Class 10 exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. In 2023, the Class 10 results were announced on June 17.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 is 85.31%. To view their marks, BSEH students need to have their roll cards ready. They can log in to the official website to check their marks. To pass, students must score at least 33%. Out of the 2,13,504 candidates who took the HBSE Class 12 regular examination, 1,82,136 passed and 6,169 failed. The pass percentage for the Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) was 35.83%, and for (Re-Appear) students, it was 48.71%.

The pass percentage for government schools is 83.35%, while private schools have a pass percentage of 88.12%. In the HBSE Class 12 examination, students from rural areas achieved a pass percentage of 86.17%, compared to 83.53% for students from urban areas.
