The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon open the registration window for students of Classes 10 and 12 to apply for re-evaluation and re-verification of their 2025 board exam results.
This year, CBSE has revised its post-result procedures. Unlike previous years—where students first applied for verification—students must now first obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer scripts. Only then can they decide whether to proceed with verification of marks (checking for totaling errors or unmarked answers) or re-evaluation (review of specific answers).
CBSE Official Statement:
“A candidate after obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks or Re-evaluation. A candidate can apply for either or both after obtaining the answer book.”
