The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for Class 10 and 12. In Class 12, the pass rate was 87.98%, and in Class 10, it was 93.60%.
In 2024, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have outperformed other institutions.
For CBSE Class 10 results, JNVs and KVs achieved a pass rate of 99.09%. A similar trend was seen in 2023, where JNVs scored 99.14% and KVs achieved 98%.
In 2022, KVs slightly fell behind as JNVs achieved a pass rate of 99.71%, placing KVs in third position with 96.61%. This marked a significant decline from the previous year when KVs held the top position with a 100% pass rate, while JNVs recorded 99.99%. However, this was also because of the lockdowns imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in the cancellation of board exams.
In 2020, KVs maintained their lead with 99.23%, while JNVs secured the second position with 98.66%. This trend was the same prior to the pandemic as well, as seen in 2019 when KVs held the top position with 99.47%, and JNVs followed closely with 98.57%. The trend appears slightly different in Class 12 results, with the Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) has also been securing a position among the top three ranks, alongside JNVs and KVs.
In 2024, CTSA topped with an overall pass percentage of 99.23%, followed by JNV at 98.90% and KVs at 98.81%.
