The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced modifications to the Accountancy answer sheets. According to an official notification from CBSE, the Board has chosen to eliminate the Answer Books that included tables in the subject of Accountancy. The Board communicated this announcement through a letter directed to the principals of all schools affiliated with CBSE. This modification will come into effect starting from the 2023-24 board exams.
According to the official notification, CBSE has decided, based on feedback from stakeholders, to discontinue the use of Answer Books containing tables in the subject of Accountancy, starting from the 2024 Board Examination. Beginning with the 2024 examinations, Accountancy will be provided with the same standard lined Answer Books as used in other Class 12 subjects.
Additionally, the Board has also extended the deadline for submitting registration data for Class 9 and Class 11 students appearing in the 2023-24 board exams. The new deadline for submitting this data without incurring a late fee is October 25th.
