The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and educators from IIT-Bombay, has announced a two-day Master Trainers’ Training Program on Design Thinking and Innovation. This initiative aims to equip educators with the necessary tools and exposure to teach students from classes VI to XII the principles of design thinking.
The training program will take place on the 9th and 10th of August 2024 at Suncity School in Gurugram, Haryana, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. It is open to Directors, Principals, Vice-Principals, and teachers who are Innovation Ambassadors or currently teach Design Thinking and Innovation in CBSE-affiliated schools. These modules are designed to help participants gain knowledge in design and develop practical skills and an innovative mindset. The training emphasizes hands-on learning, encouraging participants to tackle real-world challenges within their communities. Interested educators can register for the program by 4th August 2024. There is no fee for attendance, but participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses. Selected participants will be notified via email on 5th August 2024.
