The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the upcoming Skill Expo and Guidance Festival – 2024, set to commence in July 2024. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s emphasis on career guidance for school students, addressing the growing complexity in career decision-making amidst rapid changes in the job market. The events aim to foster creativity, innovation, and peer learning among students, teachers, and principals across CBSE-affiliated schools. In 2023, CBSE organized the Skill Expo at various locations nationwide, allowing students from different schools to showcase their skill exhibits based on specific themes. Concurrently, in partnership with the Lifology Foundation, CBSE held the Guidance Festival at the same venues, providing career guidance for students from CBSE-affiliated schools.
