The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced The Indian Navy Quiz 2024 (THINQ-24), an annual national-level competition with the theme “Viksit Bharat.” The quiz is designed for school children studying in classes IX to XII and aims to inspire them to be nation builders by fostering a strong sense of patriotism, dedication, discipline, and pride in India’s rich heritage, culture, and values.
THINQ-24, conducted by a professional Quiz Master, will feature three online elimination rounds followed by a zonal selection round conducted online. Sixteen schools will qualify for the semi-finals, and from these, eight teams will advance to the finals. The semi-finals are scheduled to take place in Kochi, Kerala, from November 6th to 9th, 2024. Finalists will have the opportunity to gain insights into the Naval way of life with visits to ships based in Kochi and exposure to Naval training facilities in Kerala.
Participants in the quiz will not only have a rich and unique experience but also stand a chance to win attractive prizes at various levels. Additionally, all participants will receive an e-certificate of participation, and travel, boarding, and lodging expenses for the semi-finalists and finalists will be covered by the Indian Navy. Schools interested in participating must register on the official website by August 15, 2024.
