The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 & Class 12 board exam results today, May 13, 2024. Students can check their scores on the official website, given HERE. Additionally, students can access the results via various digital platforms like the DigiLocker website, given HERE, and the UMANG app, offering convenient options to view their scores. During this academic year, the CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 exams were administered between February 15 and April 2, 2024.
In the Class 10 results, 93.60% of students have cleared the exam, with girls surpassing boys by 2.04 percentage points, achieving a pass rate of 94.75%. In the ‘compartment’ category there are slightly over 1.32 lakh students, indicating a slight reduction compared to the previous year. In the Class 12 results as well, girls once again outperformed boys. A total of 87.98% of students passed the CBSE Class 12 board exams. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 87.33%.
To encourage healthy competition among students, the CBSE continues to withhold merit lists and classifications (first, second, third). However, the board will acknowledge the exceptional achievement of the top 0.1% of students in each subject by awarding them merit certificates. These certificates will be accessible through the students’ DigiLocker accounts.
