IAS cadre from Odisha, Manoj Ahuja is the new Chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Educayion (CBSE). Ahuja is currently positioned as Special Director, Department of Personnel and Training. Ahuja replaces Anita Karwal, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy (MHRD).
“CBSE gets new Chairman Manoj Ahuja, IAS (OR:90), Special Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Department of Personnel and Training,” read an official statement of CBSE.
Ahuja was one of the 19 new appointments previously approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet.
