Students who previously applied for verification of their Class 10 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results can now apply for the photocopies of their evaluated answer booklets, starting from June 4, 2024. Applications must be submitted on the official website, cbse.gov.in.
For Class 10, candidates could apply for verification of marks between May 20 and May 24, 2024 for a fee of Rs 500. Now, they can obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer books on June 4 and June 5, 2024 by paying Rs 500 per answer book.
If a candidate wants to challenge the marks awarded for a specific answer, they must apply for revaluation. Applications for revaluation can be submitted from June 9 to June 10, 2024 with a fee of Rs 100 per question.
How to Apply for a Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Books:
Step 1 : Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Step 2 : Go to the ‘Examinations’ section and click on ‘Apply for evaluated answer books.’
Step 3 : Enter roll number, five-digit school number, and center number.
Step 4 : Follow the instructions and complete the form as per the guidelines provided.
Step 5 : Click the ‘Submit’ button and pay the application fee.
Step 6 : Download the confirmation page for future reference.
Students will receive a scanned copy of their answer booklet in their login account, after blocking all the information relating to the identity of the examiner.
In 2024, CBSE evaluated a total of 2,58,78,230 answer books for both Class 12 and Class 10 students, with 1,48,27,963 for Class 10 and 1,10,50,267 for Class 12.
The board stated that the evaluation of the students’ answer sheets was conducted under a ‘well-settled policy’ and listed down the measures taken to ensure ‘error-free’ evaluation.
