Out of 17.6 lakh students who had appeared for CBSE Class 10 board exams, a whopping 91.1% have passed, 4.4 % higher than 2018. Last year, the pass percentage for Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Class 10 was 86.7%. This looks like a huge progress where 13 students are sharing the top rank with 499 marks out of 500. Eight students are from schools in Uttar Pradesh.

With Google’s new feature students can check their results on the search engine or log on to CBSE’s official website, cbseresults.nic.in. The pass percent for girls is 92.4% while that of of boys is 90.14%.  CBSE will provide digital academic documents (Marksheets, Migration Certificate and Pass Certificate) for Class 10 through its own academic repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’.

This year the results have been declared with 38 days of the conclusion of the examination. HRD minister  Prakash Javadekar has congratulated CBSE for declaring the results in record time.
