CBSE Class 12 Results 2023 OUT! Here’s How to Check

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 12 board examination 2023.

CBSE 12th exams 2023 were conducted from February 15 to April 5, 2023, at 6759 centres. This year, the total number of candidates registered is 16,96,770. Out of the total candidates, the number of female and male candidates who have registered are 7,45,433 and 9,51,332 respectively.
22,622 students score more than 95% in class 12 exams. Individual toppers have not been announced this year. The CBSE Class 12 Marksheet is also available on digilocker.gov.in, the security pins and passkeys for the same have already been sent to the respective schools.
The board stated that 87.33% of students cleared the exam, a dip of 5.38% as compared to the last year. However, the Trivandrum region tops with 99.91 per cent. The pass percentage last year was 92.71 per cent.

This year, girls outshined boys by 6.01 per cent with 90.68 per cent.

Officials said the CBSE board has decided to do away with the practice of awarding first, second and third divisions to students based on their scores.

“No merit list will be declared by CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects,” a senior board official said.

  • Login by entering the asked information.
  • Check and download your CBSE result.

CBSE Class 12 board exams were held in February, March and April. As many as 16,96,770 students were eligible to appear for these exams.

As per reports, CBSE has issued six-digit security pins for activating students’ DigiLocker accounts which schools can download using their LOC credentials from digilocker.gov.in. It must further be noted that the mark sheets and passing certificates will be uploaded on the DigiLocker for the applicants who appeared for the exams.

Students can check their marks on results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or digilocker.gov.in using roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth.
