Debanshi Shekhawat from Jaipur and Khushi Shekhawat from Sikar, both hailing from Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region, have emerged among the top scorers in the CBSE Class 12 exams, each securing an outstanding 499 out of 500 marks.

NCERT Was Their Bible, Phones Not a Distraction

Both students attributed their success to a disciplined study routine focused on NCERT textbooks, strong family support, and minimal use of smartphones.

Debanshi, a student at Vidyashram School in Jaipur, said she followed a consistent schedule and avoided digital distractions completely. “I didn’t use a smartphone at all and studied just four hours a day with full focus. Staying off social media helped me stay on track,” she told PTI. Her father, Lokendra Singh Shekhawat, a former ADJ topper, played a key role in shaping her disciplined approach.

Meanwhile, Khushi Shekhawat from Dholas village in Sikar district, limited her mobile phone usage to just 10–15 minutes a week. She scored full marks in History, Political Science, Geography, and Painting, and 99 in English.

Khushi, daughter of retired Army officer Dilip Singh Shekhawat and homemaker Sanju Kanwar, aspires to become an IAS officer and plans to pursue law. “My dream is to work within the system and improve the lives of common people,” she shared.

Credit to Family and Teachers

Both toppers expressed deep gratitude to their parents, teachers, and schools for their guidance and encouragement. Their achievements are a testament to focused effort, traditional study methods, and avoiding digital distractions.
