The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared class X results 2020 today on its official website cbseresult.nic.in. At 91.46 percent, the board has recorded an increase in pass percentage by 0.36 percent compared to last year’s 91.10 percent. More than 41,804 students have bagged 95 percent and above in CBSE exams this year.
The 18 lakh students who have appeared in the CBSE class X board exams can check their results using Umang app, SMS, IVR and Digilocker.
“My dear Children, Parents, and Teachers, the results of class X CBSE board examinations will be announced tomorrow. I wish all the students best of luck.#StayCalm #StaySafe,” HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had tweeted on Tuesday.
Students who had appeared for more than three subjects will be given marks calculated in average. Marks obtained from the highest scoring three subjects will be chosen for consideration. The calculated marks will be then awarded in the subjects whose exams remain pending due to COVID-19 lockdown.
Students who have cleared only three subjects will be awarded marks after calculating the highest scores obtained in two subjects. The calculated marks will be accorded to subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
The pass percentages of girls and boys are 93.31 percent and 90.14 percent respectively.
