The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a set of instructions to complete List of Candidates (LOC) forms.
CBSE issued notice to affiliated schools and students that they will become ineligible to appear in board examinations in 2024, if they fail to complete the LOC forms accurately including accurate subject information.
According to the board’s official notice, it is essential to correctly give subjects chosen and demographic details by students in form.
As stated by CBSE, they noticed an absence of awareness with integrity among both students and schools in the past during filling up of LOC forms.
Submission of LOC for grade 10 and 12 is the most crucial activity regarding preparation for conduction of boards’ examination every year. For 2023-2024 sessions, data submission activity for eligible candidates by LOC can begin from August 18. LOC submission should be done by link of e-Pariksha available on official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in.
Education board adds that submission of LOC, as per schedule, is quite important. Additionally, submission of accurate data of students is very essential to avoid any problems in future for students. Thus, schools are requested to plan data submission timely for students. Schools also are required to ensure that all the details filled in the LOC form are correct.
Only the students, whose names will get submitted by online process in LOC submission, as per circular, shall be permitted to attend board examinations for grade 10 and 12 in 2023-24 sessions.
