The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited all affiliated schools to participate in the ‘Create in India Challenge – Season 1,’ a flagship event under the World Audio-Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2024. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), and Whistling Woods International (WWI). WAVES, set to be held from February 5-9, 2025, in New Delhi, aims to develop innovation, collaboration, and creativity within the global media and entertainment industry.

The ‘Create in India Challenge’ focuses on nurturing young filmmaking talent by engaging students aged 12-19 in two categories: Junior (12-15 years) and Senior (16-19 years). The theme for this season is “Technology & Humanity,” where students are invited to submit 60-second films demonstrating their creative vision. Teams of up to four members or individuals can participate, with each team allowed to submit up to three entries.

Submissions should include a video link on platforms such as YouTube or Google Drive, along with a brief synopsis and participant details. Judging criteria include emphasis on creativity, message clarity, and overall impact. This challenge offers students an opportunity to contribute to India’s burgeoning media and entertainment sector.
