CBSE Examination Centres Increased by Five Times

Centres for CBSE examination have increased 5x, from 3000 to whopping 15000 as announced by the HRD Minister. All the pending papers will be serially conducted from 1 July, 2020 to 15 July, 2020 in strict adherence to hygiene and social distancing to prevent any spread of COVID-19. Instead of the previously planned 3000 centres, the class 10 and 12 board exams will now be conducted at 15000 dispersed across the country.

While Class 12 papers are put on hold across the country, class 10 exams are pending in the regions of North East Delhi. Presently, evaluation of exam papers is being done from homes.

Norms of assessment for the subjects whose examination has not been conducted are awaiting clarifications.

Last month CBSE had announced about conducting examinations of the 29 subjects crucial for promotions and/or progress towards higher education.
