According to the board certain media outlets are incorrectly attributing a book, reported to contain objectionable material on dating and relationships, to CBSE. This claim is entirely baseless and incorrect .
A post recently gained popularity on platform X, featuring content from the Class 9 chapter on dating and relationships. The images from the textbook prompted reactions from numerous users. The content delves into subjects involving relationships and friendships. User @nashpatee shared images from the book on X (previously Twitter), highlighting the modern approach of the Class 9 textbooks. Numerous app users expressed surprised reactions to the inclusion of these chapters, commending CBSE for addressing essential aspects of contemporary relationships. The post even got a response from the well-known dating app Tinder India.
However, the Central Board of Secondary Education has provided a clarification regarding the viral post.
