The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a guidance notice for students in classes 10 and 12 in light of the ongoing farmer protests in the national capital.
CBSE highlighted the potential for traffic-related issues in Delhi due to the current circumstances, leading to possible delays in reaching the examination centers. The board advised all students to depart from their homes ahead of time to ensure they arrive punctually in accordance with CBSE’s instructions. CBSE declared of utilizing the smoothly operating metro services to reach the examination centers.
The board emphasized that all CBSE students across India and other countries should aim to arrive at the examination center by 10:00 am (IST), taking into consideration local conditions, traffic, weather, distance, etc. Entry will only be granted to students who reach the examination center within the specified time, and no late entries will be permitted.
The board also urged schools to assist and guide parents and students in this matter. Students are strongly advised to visit their examination center well in advance, plan their journey, and ensure they reach on or before the designated time for all examination days.
It was noted that the board exams for classes 10th and 12th are scheduled to commence from February 15.
