The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched a Mathematics practice book for promoting critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in the students. The ‘Mathematical Literacy: Practice Book for Students’, will allow students from class 7 to 10 to solve mathematical problems with ease and also help them understand the concepts until the classes resume.
The mathematics workbook has been designed in a way that the students will be able to learn and solve problems with minimal support from the teachers or the parents. The mathematics practice book is available on the official website of the CBSEE and the DIKSHA platform.
With the help of the workbook, the students from classes 7 to 10 will be able to examine problems related to real-life situations and also solve the problems. Students will begin to enjoy working in the practice book especially during such a time when regular classes have not resumed back to normal.
The schools have been shut since March 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country causing a temporary stop in the physical teaching-learning process. According to the recently released guidelines, the partial reopening of the schools has been called for the senior classes.
