The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be closing the window for schools to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 and 12 Board exams tomorrow i.e. October 4, 2024. It has been noticed that schools are required to complete the List of Candidates (LOC) submission process before the due date.
Students need to ensure their LOC is submitted on time, with only half a day remaining. The Central Board of Education (CBSE) will soon close the submission window for the List of Candidates (LOC). According to an official announcement, the deadline for schools to submit the LOC with the regular fee due tomorrow, it has been requested to be submitted before the due date.
Earlier, the CBSE had also issued a circular instructing schools to accurately submit the student data, including the subjects they have opted, recently the CBSE issued a circular emphasizing that the LOC must be submitted within the specified deadline.
CBSE has urged the school principals to verify the submission of LOC to ensure compliance with the board’s guidelines. The LOC Circular No. CBSE/LOC/X-XI/2024-25/7667/E-File-163685, issued on September 4, 2024, outlined the following key points:
- student data should be submitted accurately with no mistakes
- Correct entry of subjects chosen by students.
- LOC submission should be within the prescribed schedule to avoid any issues in the future.
CBSE has provided a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to help schools with the LOC submission process. By following these guidelines, schools can ensure the accuracy of student data, which is essential for the smooth conduct of the CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Students whose names are submitted via the online LOC process will be eligible to sit for the upcoming board exams.
