The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched the online portal for children with special needs (CWSN) to access facilities during the 2024 board exams . All CBSE schools are directed to enter details of CWSN students participating in the board exams in 2024 and update their status on the ‘Pariksha Sangam’ portal of CBSE at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
The application window, which commenced on January 19, will remain open for uploading documents and entering details until January 24.
Schools are required to upload requests for exemptions that were previously submitted to CBSE during the specified schedule. No exemption requests will be considered after January 24, 2024, and offline submissions will not be accepted, as stated by the board. CBSE stated that if CWSN students wish to access any facilities or exemptions allowed by CBSE during the examinations, the respective school can submit the request through the web portal, following the same procedure as the previous year.
According to them schools must log in using their login ID and password. The screen will display the list of CWSN students enrolled in their institutions, along with the facilities allowed for each category of students based on their disabilities. Students wish to utilize any of the facilities specified under CWSN, schools are required to choose the relevant option, and the details will be included in the CBSE admit cards for 2024. Additionally, the board will provide instructions to the exam center superintendent to make the necessary arrangements for CWSN students.
