Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a Facilitators Handbook on Artificial Intelligence (AI) consequent to their plan to introduce AI as a skill subject for classes 8 and 9. The handbook for AI covers 112 hours curriculum that is based on experiential methodologies covering both social and technology skills.
The AI Integration across subjects has been prepared as a guide to enhance the multidisciplinary approach in teaching-learning process and it will guide teachers of Class 6 to 10, on how to train and teach the topics/themes from their respective curricula with technologies that AI deploys. The handbook is a booklet with details of 15 student projects from various schools that were put on a fast track mode by the board to study the impact of the curriculum.
The AI Integration handbook also showcases AI-based tools which can be used to teach AI across disciplines, in and out of classroom.
