Clearing air on the CBSE board result declaration, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that there won’t be further delay in declaring the results. Addressing the media, the Minister said that “The exams were going on till June 15. After that, checking takes 45 days. So there wouldn’t be further delays, the results shall come soon.”
CBSE conducted their board examinations for class 10 & 12 in two phases. The first phase of examinations were conducted between November and December last year, and the second phase was conducted in April 2022. The final result will be declared after evaluating the performance of students in both exams. Once declared, students can check their results at the official website- cbse.gov.in
CBSE had earlier approached UGC (University Grants Commission) over the delay in results, which in turn issued an advisory requesting all state and central universities to plan their admissions calendar keeping CBSE class 12 results in mind.
As per officials, the results are not expected before the third week of July. Meanwhile, CBSE has already written request letters to Kerala and Tamil Nadu governments as well as the ICSI asking them for an extension of their respective admission processes for the upcoming academic year, until it announces its Class 12 results.
