The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited school heads from its affiliated institutions to participate in the 2nd National Summit on ‘Facilitating School to Work Transition,’ set to take place on 21st November 2024 at Bhubaneswar at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University. The summit aims to address the growing need for preparing students for the workforce by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge.
Focusing on the gap between academic learning and professional readiness, the summit will feature discussions, talks by industry experts, and workshops on innovative strategies for career readiness. It will also explore effective training methodologies for educators to enhance student engagement in skill development programs.
The event will include an exhibition showcasing schools’ best practices in promoting skill education, offering participants networking opportunities and insights into current and future job market trends. The summit is free, with registration open until 31st October 2024. Participation is on a first-come-first-served basis.
